The session walks through real-world case studies of Next Gen RTUs on commercial buildings, models of the energy and bill impacts, and also provide an overview of the market landscape for Next Gen RTUs, and next steps for implementation of these efficient technologies. With increased attention on heat pump technology after the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, now is the time to learn about the growing business opportunities with air source heat pumps (ASHPs) in Minnesota, including cold climate and dual fuel applications. Individual staff who help homeowners select and size equipment are encouraged to attend the training and apply for network membership. Breakfast will be provided, and participants can earn continuing education credits towards the NATE certification. This event also satisfies the training requirement to join the MN ASHP Collaborative Preferred Contractor Network, a lead generating network that connects homeowners with quality ASHP installers. Electrify Everything workshops provide step by step guidance for households to develop a plan to electrify their homes on a realistic timeline and take full advantage of federal, state and local financial incentives. Whether you want to improve home health and safety, lower your impact on the environment, keep upfront costs down, or have an old appliance you’re planning to replace, you’ll leave the workshop with a plan of action. Priority registration will be given to St. Louis Park residents, but nonresidents are encouraged to sign up, space permitting.
